ABOUT US
Welcome to Tharaka Nithi County Mental Health Forum
This is a Forum that has a membership of stakeholders involved in mental health cutting across different
sectors like psychology, psychiatry, education, medical, community health and religion.
The forum has been able to hold several outreach and sensitization meetings especially during the
height of the COVID 19 it was able to sensitize on the mental health challenges that accompanied it.
Among the mental health stake stakeholders sensitized so far are governmental administrators,
community health promoters under the ministry of Health, high school counselling teacher and church
leaders.
